Finally Fearless Blueprint

"Three Gods & Me" is track nine on the Hungry Lights studio album "Three Gods & Me." Remember that this is a summary, not the entire story! It is like 10% of what is actually going on—just the skeleton. It is a rough translation of what is literally going on in the lyrics. There is also a figurative story that is taking place at the same time which goes much deeper and does not involve the fictional character Prill, but that is up to you to find :) It is much easier to discover the hidden meaning when you grasp a decent understanding of the literal meaning first. These are your puzzle pieces, and I highly suggest you study them before pursuing the next albums in the sequence, otherwise emotion and information will be lost, therefore connections will be missed!

Story Edit

There is either a bit of overlap between "Finally Fearless" and "Three Gods & Me," or the reality of what just happened to Prill is lagging behind him, or there is some type of flashback or time skip, but the first verse is basically Prill still soaring through the air (possibly attached to Umfrant by some type of chain), and when he comes around, the fight officially begins, and Prill is not afraid—as made obvious in "Finally Fearless."

By the time the bridge hits, the slaughter is over. Even without whatever it was that was keeping him alive, Prill manages to defeat The Third God. The crowd goes absolutely insane, and as Krayle asks him how he feels—what it is that his heart truly desires, Justin said that Prill literally snatches the megaphone from Krayle's hands and screams the final chorus, "To witness my strength and behold my glory." Despite the emotion and delivery of this song, it is a false climax. There is still something Prill needs to do...

Lyrics Edit

O’ I gasped and breached the sky!

-Was being sent to the heavens,

Surely to suffer by the hammer of my final god

But honor kept me anchored here

Arms up, pulled the chain

I plummeted back into his hands

With no net and no failsafe

O’ I invited the fall, for I knew...

You’d witness my strength and behold my glory!

Borderline—on the cusp of sanity

I was wild-eyed—no need for reason

And my slump was turned to an asteroid grazing across it all

-The expense of understanding me

Then I invented his fall

For I knew…

You’d witness my strength and behold my glory!

Caught in the triumph,

I saw myself bigger than ever before

And the chaos and wonder inside my head?

O’ I couldn’t care anymore!

I flourished, the fever I had was gone

-A plashet of oil and blood

The outside now echoed my victory,

For I conquered all!

Three gods came to me,

And they sat me down

And they spoke of candor

What did I desire from them all?

But they knew…

To witness my strength and behold my glory!

Now witness my strength!
